Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Recovery & Collection professional who will be responsible for recovering old and outstanding payments from clients. The candidate should have strong knowledge of B2B collections, payment follow-ups, outstanding reconciliation, and the ability to handle difficult or delayed-payment cases professionally.

The ideal candidate should understand GST-related documentation, commercial recovery procedures, and legal escalation processes related to outstanding receivables.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with clients for old outstanding and overdue payments.
• Maintain and regularly update the outstanding receivables / ageing report.
• Contact clients through calls, emails, meetings, and written communication for payment recovery.
• Understand the reason for delayed payments and coordinate with clients to obtain clear payment commitments.
• Negotiate and follow up on payment schedules and settlement plans, wherever required.
• Coordinate with the Accounts, Sales, and Management teams regarding long-pending receivables.
• Verify invoices, payment records, credit notes, debit notes, and other supporting documents before initiating recovery.
• Handle disputed invoices and coordinate internally to resolve issues affecting payment.
• Have working knowledge of GST-related matters and documentation relevant to receivables and client recovery.
• Identify cases where outstanding amounts require formal/legal escalation and coordinate with management/legal advisors.
• Prepare professional payment reminder, demand, and recovery communications as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all recovery actions and client communications.
• Regularly report the status of pending, recovered, disputed, and high-risk outstanding amounts to management.
• Ensure timely recovery of long-pending receivables and minimize bad debts.
• Visit clients, when required, for payment discussions and recovery follow-up.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong experience in B2B payment collection and outstanding recovery.
• Good understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and ageing of receivables.
• Knowledge of GST, invoices, credit/debit notes, and commercial documentation.
• Understanding of basic legal recovery procedures for unpaid business dues.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
