What You Will Do

• Lead Fun Activities: Supervise and deliver a comprehensive, diverse recreation schedule focused on health and wellness.
• Coordinate Events: Plan exciting evening programming and leadership activities using center and community resources.
• Manage Gear & Spaces: Keep inventory of sports equipment, perform light repairs, and maintain a clean, organized recreation department.
• Track Accountability: Document student participation while maintaining strict compliance with safety guidelines.
• Empower Student Leaders: Oversee the student recreation aide program to help young adults build leadership habits.
• Be a Mentor: Model Career Success Standards, show respect and courtesy, and positively influence student behavior.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate of Arts Degree or one (1) year of related experience working with youth.(preferred)
• Valid in-state Driver’s License with a driving record meeting company insurability requirements (CDL preferred).
• Physical capability to stay active, stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team-collaboration skills.
