Recreation Aide

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Recreation Aide to join our team at a nursing home facility. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with seniors and helping create a positive and engaging environment for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and conducting recreational activities for residents
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and social programs
• Assist with games, arts and crafts, music, exercise, and other activities
• Provide companionship and positive interaction with residents
• Prepare and organize activity materials
• Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment
• Work closely with nursing and other facility staff
• Assist residents during activities as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
