Recreation Manager

ROLE PURPOSE

Own the guest experience beyond the room — designing and running a daily programme of nature, cultural, family and couple experiences that make a Ranakpur stay memorable, shareable and commercially rewarding. The role turns the property's setting in the Aravallis into signature, revenue-generating experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Engagement & Programming

▪

Build and run the daily and weekly activity calendar across morning, afternoon and evening — balanced so multi-night guests never repeat the same day.

▪

Host and lead nature, naturalist and cultural experiences (safaris, nature walks, bird watching, folk evenings) and drive guest participation.

Activity Operations & Safety

▪

Plan scheduling, staff allocation, equipment readiness and safety checks; brief guests before every activity.

▪

Maintain the activity inventory — equipment, games, sports items and kits — in ready, safe condition.

Revenue & Vendor Management

▪

Develop paid and premium experiential revenue; classify experiences as complimentary, paid, premium or on-request.

▪

Source and manage vendors (safari operators, folk artists, dhol, guides) on cost, quality and guest safety.

Experience Development & Reporting

▪

Continuously create property-specific, local, seasonal and couple/family experiences rooted in Ranakpur & Rajasthan.

▪

Maintain the daily recreation MIS and a monthly performance dashboard for management.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

▪ Education:

Graduate — Hospitality, Tourism or related field preferred.

▪ Experience:

3–5 years in resort recreation / guest experience, ideally with naturalist or adventure exposure.

▪ Skills:

Activity hosting, vendor coordination, outdoor safety awareness, PMS/POS & MS Office.

▪ Attributes:

Energetic host, strong communicator, creative programmer, safety-conscious.
