Nerf Party OC is an Irvine based consumer experience company. We host interactive events and value engaging participants in dynamic games and epic battles. Our team consists of energetic, fun, responsible leaders who value youth and are capable of independently leading groups of children, teens, and adults.

Who YOU are:

We are seeking a Battle Referee to join our fun, playful, fast-growing team! This role has flexible hours primarily Friday-Sunday. All Nerf hosts must transport equipment and supplies to events. A truck, van or SUV is required as our business is mobile. Rate is $19-$25/HR, depending on experience.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

 Attending all required meetings and trainings.

 Officiating battles and games.

 Picking up gear, driving to event site, greeting party organizer, and setting up the battlefield.

 Welcoming guests, esteeming the honored Birthday Boy/Girl if applicable.

 Explaining and enforcing game rules and procedures, assessing penalties, and settling complaints from participants.

 Inspecting NPOC equipment and battlefield before every event to ensure safe conditions.

 Collecting waivers from each participant.

 Communicating issues and concerns to the NPOC owner.

 Deflating bunkers, packing up gear after each event.

 Maintaining tidy and organized NPOC containers. Repacking containers in the same condition as they were picked up. Delivering gear back to storage facility.

 Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 Operating as a “face” of our brand at every event.

What Makes You The Ideal Fit:

 A candidate for the position of Nerf Party OC Referee is an outgoing, dynamic individual who likes to work hard and have fun while doing it! They are self-motivated, reliable, and punctual people responsible for engaging with others and fostering a sense of community at each event.

 The ideal candidate is comfortable standing for prolonged periods of time and can lift and drag 50–60-pound wheeled containers.

 A Nerf Party OC Referee is responsible for representing our company through quality customer service, excellent communication skills, and delivering a fantastic event that will be forever remembered.

 Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications:

• Live within 10 miles of Irvine
• Available on Weekends (Sat and/or Sun, preferably both) and occasionally, Mon. -Fri.
• Must be able to transport and lift, 50-60 lb. containers*
• Have an SUV or large 4 door that can transport equipment to parties
• Can provide a cover letter highlighting experience with youth
• Excellent attitude with adults and youth
• Able to pass a background check and fingerprint scan

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
