About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Recruiter to join our growing team at Vsconsultancy in Bukit Indah, Johor. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the recruitment industry. As a Recruiter, you will be at the forefront of identifying, attracting, and placing top talent for our diverse client base. You will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, whilst contributing to the strategic growth and reputation of our organisation. This role requires a proactive approach, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for connecting people with their ideal roles.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and identifying qualified candidates through various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and direct outreach
• Conducting initial candidate screening and interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit for client requirements
• Building and maintaining a database of potential candidates for both current and future job opportunities
• Developing and nurturing relationships with key clients to understand their hiring needs, company culture, and staffing requirements
• Presenting suitable candidates to clients and facilitating the interview and selection process
• Negotiating offers and terms of employment between candidates and clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
• Providing professional guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment journey
• Meeting recruitment targets and KPIs whilst maintaining high-quality placements
• Collaborating with the broader recruitment team to share best practices and achieve collective objectives
• Maintaining detailed records of recruitment activities, candidate information, and placement outcomes

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Recruiter or similar recruitment role, ideally within a recruitment agency environment
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, talent acquisition strategies, and the full recruitment lifecycle
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and clients
• Demonstrated ability to meet recruitment targets and deliver results within agreed timelines
• Proficiency in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and job boards
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and priorities
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Professional presentation skills and the ability to represent the company positively
• Familiarity with the local job market in Malaysia is advantageous
