About the Opportunity

A well-established boutique recruitment firm is looking to add an experienced AEC Recruiter to its growing team on Long Island. The firm specializes in recruiting within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) markets and has built a strong reputation for developing long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.

This is an opportunity for an experienced agency recruiter to join a specialized team, take ownership of AEC searches, and continue developing a successful desk within a growing business.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit professionals across the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction markets
• Source and engage both active and passive candidates
• Build and maintain a strong network of AEC professionals
• Conduct candidate outreach, screening, and qualification calls
• Partner closely with clients to understand hiring needs and search requirements
• Manage candidates throughout the interview and offer process
• Develop long-term relationships with candidates and clients
• Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, internal databases, referrals, and other sourcing channels
• Stay informed on AEC market trends, compensation, and talent availability
• Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's AEC practice

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of agency recruiting experience, ideally within Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or a related market
• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working in a boutique, entrepreneurial environment
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple searches simultaneously
• Self-motivated, driven, and motivated by building a successful recruiting desk
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and an ATS is preferred
