The ideal candidate has a proven track record in full-cycle recruiting and sourcing for manufacturing, production, skilled trades, engineering, and operations roles. This individual will partner with plant leadership and hiring managers to understand workforce needs, build effective sourcing strategies, and find qualified talent that supports production goals and business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with plant managers, production supervisors, and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, shift coverage, and hiring timelines.
  • Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates for manufacturing roles, including machine operators, assemblers, maintenance technicians, quality inspectors, manufacturing engineers, production supervisors, and other plant-based positions.
  • Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, trade schools, community partnerships, job fairs, and other sourcing tools.

  • Screen resumes and conduct candidate interviews to assess technical skills, safety awareness, experience, and alignment with role requirements.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and pipeline updates in the applicant tracking system.
  • Coordinate interviews, plant tours, and pre-employment steps (background checks, drug screens) while keeping candidates and hiring teams informed throughout the process.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future production and expansion needs.
  • Monitor recruiting progress and provide regular updates on candidate pipelines, hiring timelines, and open requisitions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience and support timely, efficient hiring.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7–10 years of professional recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, industrial, or plant-based environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment for both hourly and salaried positions.

  • Experience supporting plant startups, expansions, or large-scale hiring initiatives.

  • Support recruiting for complex, high-impact production operations.
  • Competitive hourly pay of $40–$45.
  • Hybrid schedule with 2 remote days per week.
  • Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position.
