Help Build the Team Behind the Next Generation of AI Products

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager or Senior Recruiter who wants to play a central role in building the team behind a fast-growing AI company.

You will work closely with founders, hiring managers and senior leadership to identify, attract and hire exceptional talent across software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, product, data and other business-critical functions.

This is not simply a role focused on managing inbound applications.

You will be expected to proactively identify outstanding candidates, develop talent pipelines, advise hiring managers, improve recruitment processes and help shape the company's long-term hiring strategy.

The position is particularly suited to recruiters who enjoy working in fast-moving startup or scale-up environments where they can take ownership of hiring projects and have a direct impact on company growth.

⸻

The Role

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will take ownership of multiple hiring processes across the organisation while helping build a scalable and high-quality recruitment function.

You will work closely with leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, define candidate profiles and develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.

A significant part of the role will involve proactively identifying and engaging high-quality candidates, particularly across technical and AI-related positions.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruitment processes across technical and non-technical roles
  • Partner closely with founders, leadership and hiring managers to define hiring requirements
  • Develop sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill and highly competitive positions
  • Proactively identify and engage candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, communities and other sourcing channels
  • Build strong talent pipelines across software engineering, AI, machine learning, data, product and commercial functions
  • Conduct initial interviews and candidate qualification
  • Manage candidates throughout the interview and offer process
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience from first contact through to onboarding
  • Advise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation, candidate availability and recruitment strategy
  • Write and optimise job descriptions and recruitment messaging
  • Develop employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company's visibility within relevant talent markets
  • Track hiring metrics and identify opportunities to improve recruitment performance
  • Help improve interview processes, scorecards and hiring standards
  • Support workforce planning as the organisation continues to grow
  • Build relationships with relevant technology communities, universities, networks and industry organisations
  • Work with recruitment agencies and external partners where appropriate
  • Help establish scalable recruitment processes and systems
  • Contribute to broader people and organisational initiatives as the company grows

⸻

What We're Looking For

Strong candidates will typically bring several of the following:

  • Strong professional experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or Technical Recruitment
  • Experience managing end-to-end hiring processes
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring highly skilled candidates
  • Experience recruiting for software engineering, AI, machine learning, data, product or other technical roles
  • Strong direct sourcing and candidate outreach skills
  • Experience working closely with hiring managers and senior leadership
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, candidate assessment and interview management
  • Ability to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder-management abilities
  • A proactive and highly independent working style
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms and recruitment technology
  • Strong understanding of candidate markets and compensation trends
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving and changing environment

Experience working within an AI company, technology startup, software business or high-growth scale-up would be particularly valuable.

Experience recruiting internationally or across European technology markets would also be beneficial.

German language skills may be helpful, but strong professional English is the key requirement.

⸻

Why Join?

Build a High-Growth AI Company

You will play a direct role in building the team behind a company developing AI-powered technology and expanding rapidly across multiple functions.

The people you hire will have a meaningful influence on the company's technology, culture and future direction.

Significant Ownership

The recruitment function remains relatively lean, giving you the opportunity to take real ownership of hiring strategy rather than simply operating within a large established recruiting structure.

You will have the opportunity to influence:

  • Talent acquisition strategy
  • Hiring processes
  • Employer branding
  • Candidate experience
  • Recruitment technology
  • Interview frameworks
  • Workforce planning
  • Future recruitment team development

Work Directly With Leadership

You will work closely with founders, executives and senior hiring managers and act as a trusted advisor on talent markets, hiring strategy and candidate selection.

High-Growth Environment

Join an ambitious AI startup while the organisation, product and team are still being built and scaled.

This creates significant opportunity for someone who wants to help shape how the company hires as it grows.

Competitive Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is:

€70,000 - €95,000 per year

Final compensation will depend on experience, technical recruiting expertise and seniority.

Additional benefits may be available depending on the final employment package.

Hybrid Berlin Working

The role is based in Berlin, Germany , with a hybrid working model combining time with the team in Berlin and remote work.
