The Role

You'll join Pierpoint and work onsite at the client's Hachioji office. You'll own requisitions from intake to accepted offer and work closely with hiring managers to fill experienced, new college graduate, and evergreen roles.

Hiring areas include R&D engineering (hardware, software, RF, firmware/FPGA), applications and solution engineering, repair and calibration engineering, and technical marketing and sales.

What You'll Do

• Run full-cycle recruiting for experienced and new graduate hires

• Partner with hiring managers on role scoping, candidate calibration, interview design, and offer strategy

• Build and maintain evergreen pipelines so hiring teams have qualified candidates ready when headcount opens

• Source directly through LinkedIn, Japanese job boards, university relationships, and referrals

• Support new graduate (shinsotsu) hiring cycles, including campus outreach and internship-to-hire pipelines

• Manage requisitions and candidate records in iCIMS

• Report pipeline status and hiring progress to client stakeholders and Pierpoint leadership

What You Bring

• 6+ years of recruiting experience

• Required: recruiting experience in the semiconductor industry

• A track record of filling technical engineering roles in Japan

• Experience with new college graduate recruiting in Japan

• Professional reading and writing proficiency in Japanese and English

• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, comfortable working between Japanese teams and global stakeholders

• Proven ability to negotiate and close offers, including with experienced engineering candidates

• iCIMS experience preferred

• Availability to work onsite in Hachioji 3 to 5 days per week
