Recruiting Assistant

Job Summary:
We're pleased to be searching for a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to support our growing team's hiring efforts. This role is fully focused on the recruiting side of the business — managing job postings, engaging with applicants, and conducting initial phone screenings to identify strong, qualified candidates for specialized positions. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to read people, ask the right questions, and assess experience and qualifications accurately. This is a great opportunity to grow into a broader recruiting role as responsibilities expand over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor job postings (e.g., Indeed) and respond to incoming applicants promptly
• Source and identify candidates based on specific staffing needs for open roles
• Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' experience, qualifications, and communication skills
• Evaluate whether a candidate's background and certifications match the requirements of specific roles
• Assess personality and communication fit, particularly for roles requiring sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills
• Manage a high volume of applicants and leads to keep the hiring pipeline moving efficiently
• Flag top candidates for further evaluation and, over time, take on a greater role in the interview process
• Maintain organized records of candidate pipelines and screening outcomes

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in recruiting, candidate screening, or phone-based interviewing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to assess candidate experience, qualifications, and personality fit accurately
• Comfortable managing a high volume of applications and leads
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills and professionalism when engaging with applicants

Preferred Skills:

• Experience recruiting for healthcare, therapy, or medical-related roles
• Familiarity with job platforms such as Indeed
• Prior experience conducting phone screenings or preliminary interviews
• Ability to grow into full interview responsibilities as the role expands
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple candidates simultaneously
