What they need
UFORCE exists to make aggression unaffordable.
Founded in Ukraine and headquartered in London, UFORCE is a defence-technology company with operations across Europe, the United States and Asia.
UFORCE builds uncrewed vessels, ground robotics and aircraft, autonomy software, and the command-and-control layer that operates them together. Each platform is deployable on its own, and stronger as part of the system. Its product lines include the MAGURA family of uncrewed surface vessels, the NEMESIS family of strike platforms, the LIUT family of ground robotic platforms, and counter-UAS systems.
About the role
UFORCE is hiring its first dedicated Recruiting & Talent Operations team member to build the operating system behind our next phase of growth.
This is a high-ownership role spanning recruiting systems, analytics, process design, workforce-plan intake and structured assessment across the US and Europe. You will turn complex and often ambiguous hiring needs into clear workflows, reliable data and operating rhythms that help recruiters and business leaders make better decisions faster.
You will not inherit a finished playbook. You will have the opportunity to define how Talent Operations works at UFORCE and create infrastructure that directly affects our ability to hire exceptional people at pace.
What you'll do
- Own and continuously improve our recruiting systems, with Ashby serving as the primary source of truth.
- Build dashboards and reporting that give Talent and senior leadership a clear view of approved headcount, priorities, funnel health, recruiting capacity and execution risks.
- Identify sources of delay or poor candidate experience and lead practical improvements across scheduling, feedback, decisions and closing.
- Create clear operating paths for executive, opportunistic and not-yet-scoped hiring needs.
- Connect workforce planning and headcount decisions to recruiter ownership, capacity and realistic hiring timelines.
- Define and track meaningful measures of recruiting effectiveness and quality of hire.
- Document scalable workflows and lead cross-functional projects involving Talent, People, Finance, business leaders and external partners.
What we're looking for
- Experience owning or building Talent / Recruiting Operations in a fast-growing organization.
- Strong knowledge of applicant-tracking systems, recruiting workflows, automation, integrations and data governance.
- The ability to turn recruiting data into concise, decision-ready insights for senior leaders.
- Practical understanding of structured hiring, scorecards, interview design and candidate experience.
- Strong project-management skills and evidence of delivering complex cross-functional work from diagnosis through adoption.
- Sound judgement and the confidence to bring clarity and appropriate challenge to ambiguous requests.
- A low-ego, high-ownership approach and comfort operating with significant autonomy in a changing environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to make complex processes easy for others to use.
Nice to have
- Experience as the first or an early Talent Operations hire.
- Experience with Ashby or comparable modern recruiting platforms.
- Experience supporting hiring across both the US and Europe.
- Experience in defence technology, deep technology, hardware, manufacturing or another complex technical environment.
- Exposure to executive recruiting, compensation or equity-related hiring processes.
This is a remote role and may be based in the United States or Europe.
The nature of combat has changed.
Tomorrow’s battlefield success depends on autonomy, speed, and adaptability.
And UFORCE is ready.
