Job Purpose and Role

We are seeking an energetic, proactive, and organized Subcontractor Recruiting Virtual Assistant to lead one of our client’s 1099 cleaner recruitment operations across Texas and expansion markets. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding independent 1099 cleaning professionals to build and maintain a reliable, high-quality vendor pipeline.

The ideal candidate possesses strong outreach skills, takes high initiative, and thrives in high-volume sourcing across platforms like Indeed and Facebook Groups. You will work closely with our operational team to ensure immediate contractor availability for emergency and same-day cleaning assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Active Talent Sourcing: Source, identify, and recruit independent 1099 subcontractor cleaners by engaging Indeed applicants, actively monitoring local Facebook Groups, and leveraging local community boards.
• Screening & Vetting: Review incoming applications, conduct initial phone/video interviews, evaluate experience and reliability, and vet potential contractors to maintain quality standards.
• Contractor Onboarding: Onboard qualified cleaners into our system roster, verify documentation/credentials, and add them directly to our queue of active recruiters and cleaners.
• Cross-Functional Operations Support: Coordinate closely with the operations team to push newly onboarded cleaners into active job scheduling immediately during crunch periods or same-day emergency cleans.
• Outbound Communication: Perform outbound calls and follow-ups with prospective contractors to guide them through the recruiting pipeline and maintain high conversion rates.
• Process Optimization & Initiative: Proactively identify bottlenecks in the contractor sourcing workflow, suggest process improvements, and make independent operational decisions to keep talent flowing smoothly.

Qualifications:

• Recruiting & Sourcing Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting, talent sourcing, or staffing support (experience recruiting 1099 contractors, home service workers, or field staff is a strong plus).
• Sourcing Proficiency: Hands-on experience sourcing candidates via Indeed, Facebook groups, direct messages, and social media outreach.
• Proactive & Autonomous Mindset: High initiative and self-direction—comfortable making hiring/vetted decisions independently and offering workflow solutions to management.
• Outbound Communication & Rapport: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; comfortable conducting daily outbound interviews and pitch calls.
