Recruitment Advisor

Due to continued growth and our focus on strengthening the capability of our internal Recruitment team, GenusPlus Group is seeking an experienced and driven Recruitment Advisor to join us in Kewdale and help take our recruitment function to the next level.

You will manage end-to-end project recruitment across major construction, infrastructure, industrial and renewable energy projects, covering both high-volume blue-collar positions and key white-collar roles.

The Role
Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, you will manage end-to-end recruitment for electricians, trades assistants, operators, supervisors and other site-based personnel. This isn’t a “post and wait” role. We need a proactive recruiter who enjoys sourcing, speaking with candidates and building strong talent pipelines to meet project mobilisation deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment from job brief through to offer and onboarding.
• Source blue-collar talent through SEEK, referrals, databases and outbound calls.
• Screen candidates for experience, licences, tickets, roster availability and site suitability.
• Build pipelines for high-volume and recurring project requirements.
• Adapt your recruitment approach to support white-collar, professional and technical vacancies.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce and mobilisation needs.
• Maintain accurate candidate and vacancy records in JobAdder.
• Deliver a positive and responsive candidate experience.

About You

• Strong experience recruiting blue-collar personnel across trades, construction, mining or infrastructure.
• The versatility to recruit white-collar and technical positions when required.
• Previous agency or internal end-to-end recruitment experience.
• A proactive “go and find them” approach.
• Confidence making high-volume outbound calls and engaging passive candidates.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and changing project priorities.
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• ATS experience, ideally JobAdder.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
