Recruitment Assistant

About the role

Working closely with the Account Manager and wider recruitment team, you will assist with the day-to-day recruitment and coordination of casual workforce across aviation, logistics, warehousing and associated industries.

Key responsibilities

• Screening and contacting candidates
• Conducting initial phone interviews
• Scheduling interviews, inductions and onboarding
• Assisting with recruitment advertising and candidate sourcing
• Completing reference checks
• Supporting new employees through the onboarding process
• Maintaining candidate and employee records
• Monitoring employee compliance and documentation
• Assisting with rostering and workforce availability
• Supporting the team with ad hoc shift fulfilment

About you

• Confident speaking with people over the phone and in person
• Friendly, professional and approachable
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to manage multiple priorities
• Reliable and willing to take ownership of tasks
• Confident using computers and learning new systems
• A strong communicator with good written and verbal skills
• Interested in developing a career in recruitment and workforce management
