Pagos Consultants is a specialist recruitment consultancy operating across Payments, Fintech, Technology, Executive Search, Quant & Portfolio Management. As our international business continues to grow, we're expanding our Delivery team in Mauritius and are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to support our global client base. This is an opportunity to become an integral part of a high-performing recruitment business where quality, professionalism, and candidate experience are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of the candidate journey from initial identification through to successful placement. Working alongside our Sales Consultants, you will be responsible for sourcing exceptional talent, managing recruitment processes, preparing candidates for interviews, coordinating feedback, handling offers, and ensuring every placement is delivered to the highest possible standard. You will also contribute to business growth by identifying market intelligence and introducing potential client opportunities discovered throughout your recruitment activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and engage high-quality candidates across multiple markets and industries.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for live vacancies.
• Conduct detailed candidate interviews and qualification calls.
• Prepare candidates thoroughly before every interview.
• Manage interview scheduling, feedback, and candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
• Support offer negotiation and manage candidates through to their start date.
• Identify and proactively manage risks including candidate drop-outs and counter-offers.
• Generate market intelligence and identify potential business opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships with candidates within your specialist markets.
• Maintain accurate records within our CRM and ensure all recruitment activity is recorded.
• Work closely with the Sales team to ensure outstanding delivery for every client.

Previous recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential. We value attitude, professionalism, and the willingness to learn.
