Technical Role Requirements

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent specifically for electrical scopes and disciplines.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates specifically for electrical scopes and disciplines.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.
• Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to identify potential candidates.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new hires.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs specifically for electrical scopes and disciplines
• Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Promote the company’s employer brand and create a positive candidate experience.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in recruitment.
• Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities, outcomes, and metrics to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and other external partners.

Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources is desirable
• Certificate III Business Administration or similar field
• Tertiary qualification in electrical works or trade (essential)

Knowledge/Experience Required

• Background in electrical works either trades or engineering with tertiary qualifications or trade certs as a minimum
• Proven network specific to electrical works in Australia’s resources market
• Proven experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role, preferably within the mining and construction industry.
• Strong understanding of recruitment principles, practices, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in recruitment software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support recruitment activities.
