Recruitment Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to take full ownership of recruitment across Everyman Driving Experiences.

This is a hands-on, autonomous recruitment role covering both our permanent internal recruitment and our large freelance workforce. You’ll recruit everything from office and operational roles through to driving instructors, hospitality teams, event staff and other freelance positions.

We’re looking for someone who knows recruitment, is confident working independently and doesn’t need to be micromanaged. You’ll have genuine ownership of the recruitment function and will be expected to identify what needs doing and get on with it.

What You’ll Do

• Own the end-to-end recruitment process across the business
• Recruit for permanent internal roles across all departments
• Manage recruitment of our freelance driving instructors, hospitality staff and event teams
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of freelance candidates to support our busy events calendar
• Write engaging job adverts and proactively source candidates
• Manage applications, screening, interviews, references, offers and onboarding
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and deliver the right candidates
• Use a range of recruitment channels including job boards, LinkedIn, agencies and direct sourcing
• Manage recruitment campaigns when we need to recruit large numbers of people quickly
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation
• Ensure right-to-work, qualification and other relevant compliance checks are completed
• Continuously improve our recruitment processes and candidate experience
• Keep on top of upcoming recruitment requirements and proactively build talent pipelines
• Track recruitment activity and provide regular updates to the business

About You

We’re looking for an experienced recruiter who can hit the ground running.

You’ll ideally have:

• Proven experience in a Recruitment Manager, Senior Recruiter or similar role
• Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle
• Experience recruiting both permanent and temporary/freelance workers
• Strong sourcing and candidate attraction skills
• Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills
• The ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities at once
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with candidates and hiring managers
• A proactive, commercially minded approach
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly around recruitment compliance
• The confidence to work independently and make decisions without constant guidance

Most importantly, you’ll be a self-starter. We don’t want someone who needs a list of jobs handed to them every morning. We want someone who can look at our recruitment needs, create a plan, source the right people and deliver.
