Recruitment Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing Talent: Post open roles on job boards, professional networks, and social media, and use databases to find active and passive candidates.
• Screening and Assessing: Review resumes, evaluate skills and experience, and conduct preliminary phone or video interviews to build shortlists.
• Collaborating with Managers: Partner with department heads to identify hiring needs, define job requirements, and coordinate final interviews.
• Managing the Candidate Experience: Guide applicants through the selection process, provide status updates, and coordinate job offers.
• Onboarding & Compliance: Handle new-hire paperwork and ensure all hiring practices follow local labor laws and company policies.
• Reporting: Track hiring metrics and prepare recruitment reports for HR management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Typically 1 to 4 years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, active listening, interviewing proficiency, and organizational time management.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR databases, and professional social platforms like LinkedIn.

Pay: From ₦150,000.00 per month
