RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

📍 Location: Kajiado,Kenya

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Specialist to support the organization in attracting,sourcing and hiring qualified talent across various functions.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day recruitment activities,build candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews,and work closely with hiring managers to ensure vacancies are filled efficiently and with the right talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from approved manpower requisition to onboarding.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, recruitment agencies, referrals, social media, talent databases, and other recruitment channels.
• Screen CVs and applications against job requirements and shortlist suitable candidates.
• Conduct preliminary interviews and candidate assessments.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Support recruitment for various positions,including general workers, technical roles, specialists, and professional positions.
• Build and maintain an active candidate talent pool for current and future vacancies.
• Conduct targeted sourcing for hard-to-fill and specialized positions.
• Coordinate with recruitment agencies and external sourcing partners when required.
• Support background and reference checks for selected candidates.
• Prepare recruitment documentation and support the offer process.
• Follow up on candidates who have received offers to ensure timely joining.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and candidate databases.
• Track recruitment progress and provide regular updates on open vacancies.
• Prepare recruitment reports covering vacancies,interviews,offers,hires,sourcing channels and turnaround time.
• Support recruitment campaigns,career fairs,campus recruitment and mass hiring exercises.
• Conduct market research to identify new and effective talent sourcing channels.
• Ensure recruitment activities are conducted in line with company policies and applicable employment requirements.
• Support onboarding activities and ensure new hires have a smooth joining experience.
• Perform any other recruitment-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources,Business Administration,or a related field .
• HR professional certification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–4 years of recruitment experience ,preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or fast-paced business environment.
• Hands-on experience in sourcing and screening candidates across different job levels.
• Experience using LinkedIn,job portals,recruitment databases and social media for candidate sourcing.
• Experience handling multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Good understanding of recruitment processes and interviewing techniques.
• Experience coordinating with hiring managers and external recruitment agencies is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office,particularly Excel and Word .
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet recruitment deadlines.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive,target-oriented,organized and passionate about recruitment ,with the ability to identify quality candidates quickly and manage multiple recruitment assignments effectively.

Experience recruiting for manufacturing,technical,operational,specialist and professional roles will be highly preferred.
