Recruitment Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Team Lead to guide and oversee our recruitment team in delivering high-quality candidates across multiple roles and client requirements. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in agency and external recruitment, bringing a fast-paced, client-focused mindset to team leadership.

The Recruitment Team Lead will manage day-to-day operations, establish team priorities and targets, monitor recruiter performance, and ensure vacancies are filled efficiently and to high quality standards. This role balances direct, hands-on recruitment with active coaching, talent strategy, and team development across the entire end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support the Recruitment Team in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment targets.
• Assign vacancies and recruitment priorities to team members based on workload, urgency, and recruiter capacity.
• Monitor individual and team performance against agreed KPIs and recruitment targets.
• Conduct regular team check-ins, briefings, and performance discussions.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to recruiters to improve their recruitment skills and overall performance.
• Oversee the full recruitment process from sourcing and screening through candidate endorsement and placement.
• Review candidate profiles, screening results, and CVs to ensure candidates meet role requirements before endorsement.
• Coordinate with leadership and relevant stakeholders regarding recruitment requirements, priorities, timelines, and candidate expectations.
• Prepare and submit regular recruitment reports covering team activity, candidate pipelines, endorsements, interviews, placements, and other relevant KPIs.
• Train and coach new and existing recruiters on recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, candidate screening, communication, and documentation standards.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong background in agency and external recruitment
• At least 6 years experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in leading or supervising a recruitment team.
• Proven experience managing recruitment targets, pipelines, and multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, candidate screening, interviewing, and recruitment processes.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop recruiters.
• Confident and professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to analyse recruitment data and use KPIs to monitor and improve team performance.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Jobstreet, Indeed, Facebook, and other recruitment platforms.
