Red Team Security Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Red Team Security Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will help strengthen the organization's security posture by planning and executing offensive security engagements that simulate real-world adversaries. The position will focus on uncovering cloud and identity-based attack paths, improving detection and response readiness, and translating technical findings into clear guidance for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will work closely with blue teams and other security partners to identify vulnerabilities, validate defenses, and stay ahead of emerging cloud exploitation techniques.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $146,000 – $190,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute red team operations and adversary simulations
• Evaluate cloud infrastructure and security configurations
• Identify attack paths due to IAM misconfigurations and secrets exposure
• Assess detection and response capabilities in collaboration with blue team partners
• Monitor emerging attack techniques and trends in cloud exploitation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in offensive security and red teaming
• Familiarity with attacker tactics and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
• Proficiency in creating concise and actionable reports for varied audiences
• Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, or cloud security certifications
