Redi-Mix Driver Job Description

A NexLevel Redi-Mix Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of ready-mix concrete from our plant to residential and commercial job sites. Drivers play an important role in keeping projects moving by delivering the correct product safely, efficiently, and with a professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Safely transport ready-mix concrete from the plant to customer job sites.
• Deliver loads on schedule while maintaining communication with dispatch and plant personnel.
• Safely maneuver and position the truck at job sites and operate the truck’s discharge system to deliver concrete where directed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery tickets, logs, and other required documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures, traffic laws, and applicable DOT regulations.
• Maintain a clean driving record and operate company vehicles responsibly at all times.
• Keep the truck clean and perform required cleaning and washout procedures following deliveries.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, dispatchers, plant personnel, and other members of the job-site team.
• Represent NexLevel Redi-Mix with professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to customer service.
• Work safely in active construction environments and be prepared for changing job-site, traffic, and weather conditions.
