We are seeking a motivated and dependable Reefer Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a refrigerated box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time. Duties

• Safely operate a refrigerated box truck, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws.
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Deliver goods to various locations, adhering to planned routes while managing time effectively.
• Verify delivery accuracy, obtain signatures, and complete necessary documentation for each shipment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking refrigeration units, brakes, lights, and load securement.
• Communicate with dispatch via mobile devices to receive route updates or report issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and addressing client inquiries courteously.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier services, preferably with box trucks or vans.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle size.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices; experience with manual handling and moving is essential.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation, and warehouse experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and safe driving practices on route driving schedules.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries.
• Ability to operate mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation purposes effectively.
