At NCU, our techs work on equipment that the nation depends on. Whether they’re moving fresh produce, pharmaceuticals, or light beer, our customers count on NCU to provide world-class service. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team that feels more like a family than another 9-to-5.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMs) on refrigeration units, including belts, filters, fluids, and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, cooling systems, electrical controls, sensors, and temperature management components
  • Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems, wiring, and control modules
  • Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging per EPA guidelines
  • Identify mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related failures and determine proper corrective actions
  • Complete road calls and on-site repairs in a mobile service environment (when applicable)

  • Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and repair documentation
  • Communicate findings, repair recommendations, and timelines with customers or fleet managers
  • Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area, service truck, and tools
  • Assist with other trailer or equipment repairs as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
