Leading MDs is a growing Healthcare company looking for immediate new hires to join our team. We are looking for various individuals who want to start their healthcare careers or further develop their skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete patient referrals within 3-5 business days and follow up to ensure timely care
• Process all incoming and outing referrals prioritizing urgent requests on the same day
• Monitor fax logs to ensure referrals are being received
• Obtain Prior Authorization when needed
• Schedule specialty appointments if/when needed
• Communicate referral information to patients
• Collaboration between clinic staff and providers

Requirements:

Education

High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience

• 1 + year experience in medical referrals, Required
• 1 + year with electronic medical /health record, preferred
• 1 + year administrative experience in medical office, preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational skills and problem solving
• Insurance knowledge and experience for all payor products
• Knowledge and experience with understanding diagnosis codes for referral processing
• Proficiency with Microsoft, excel, and Word.
• eClinical Works EMR experience, preferred
