Refinery Supervisor

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Responsible for preparing the daily production report with the Production Supervisor, coordinating and supervising overall refinery operations, ensuring the availability of materials and consumables, managing general refinery plant operations, generating reliable evidence and investigations for process deviations, and conducting product traceability on RB output and CNO input.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Documentation Management and Reporting

• Ensures that all daily activities and plant conditions are entered on logbook and/or log sheets by the operators.
• Generates daily production report with the production supervisors.
• Records all activities, routine, plant capacity and performance in Refinery Coordinators’ Logbook.
• Submits reports regarding plant operation and activities. Must be able to explain all operations or activities that deviate from standard and give recommendations for the improvement of operations.

 Production Monitoring

• Oversees refinery operation. Sees to it that standard operating procedures and parameters are maintained safely and at the least cost.
• Supervises and coordinates activities in the Plant by the operators of all shifts for the smooth and continuous operations of the refinery.
• Ensure that all materials and consumables necessary for the operation or activities in the plant are available and use properly.
• Maintains safety and good housekeeping within his area.

Management of Non-conforming Process and Services

• Evaluates refinery personnel job performance, including past, present, and potential problems
• Makes wide awareness of plant performance, employee attitude, and gives recommendations constantly.
• Supervises repairs and servicing of all equipment in the refinery plant.
• Coordinates and schedules activities during shutdowns.
• Observes anti-pollution regulations.

Product Traceability

• Coordinates the activity with the other sections i.e. Production, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance.
• Ensure to produce good quality products in accordance with the required product specifications.
• Conduct product traceability on RB output and CNO input for smooth refinery operation.

Other Responsibilities

• Adhere to and comply with all management programs implemented by the company, including but not limited to food safety and quality management system, environmental, health, and safety regulations, sustainability initiatives, and operational excellence frameworks.
• Perform other related jobs as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A graduate of Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related courses (Licensed is not required but an advantage.)
• Requires at least 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing production operations as a Refinery Operator.
