Package & Benefits

• Salary : £44,000 PA
• Contract hours : 40 hours
• Overtime: x1.5 weekdays, x2 Sundays & Bank Holidays
• Annual Bonus: Up to £5,000 (paid quarterly, based on KPIs)
• On-call Allowance: £200 per week + applicable overtime rates (1 in 6 rota)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration/ Chiller Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of refrigeration/ chiller systems across various client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) service and repair on industrial refrigeration systems
• Working with Cold rooms/freezers rooms/ air cooler & water cooler systems 5KW – 2MW/ heat recover chiller units/ free coolers/ cooling towers
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently to minimise downtime
• Install and commission refrigeration equipment as required
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health & safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately
• Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 6)

Experience/ qualifications

• Proven experience working on large chillers - air cooler & water cooler systems
• Relevant refrigeration qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
• F-Gas Cat 1 certification (essential)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to travel and work overtime when required
