Overview

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems across various commercial settings.

We have been established over 50 years and currently employing over 120 direct employees across the country. We are currently a £40 million business alone, as well as also part of a large national facilities management company who employ a further 1600 people across the country

Duties

• Install new refrigeration systems in accordance with technical specifications and schematics. (Coldrooms, Integrals, Bottle coolers, Display cabinets, vrv, vrf. Split systems)
• Conduct routine maintenance on existing refrigeration and air con units to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose faults within refrigeration equipment with service and repair
• Lead installation projects, coordinating with team members and clients to meet project deadlines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to facilitate accurate installation and repairs.
• Oversee the safe handling of equipment and materials during construction or installation activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during installation and maintenance work.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members when required.
