Refrigeration Service Technician / Mechanical Plumber / Junior Apprentice

About the role

Armstrong Air is looking for a qualified Refrigeration Service Technician to join our dedicated service team, focusing on residential air conditioning servicing, fault finding and repairs across split systems, multi-heads and reverse-cycle ducted systems. You'll diagnose faults, explain repair options clearly to customers and complete accurate job records, with scheduling support from our office and experienced technicians available for a second opinion.

Key responsibilities

• Service and repair residential air conditioning systems including split systems, multi-heads and reverse-cycle ducted systems
• Diagnose faults and explain repair options clearly to customers
• Complete accurate job records
• Work with scheduling support from office staff
• Consult with experienced technicians for second opinions as needed

About you

• Relevant trade qualifications
• Current refrigerant handling licence
• Electrical licensing appropriate to your duties
• Current driver's licence
• Experience with gas heaters and evaporative coolers is an advantage
