J.P. Kempf is seeking an experienced, licensed Refrigeration Field Technician to support our growing customer base and expanding service team.

Competitive Pay: $35.00 to $62.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, service, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate effectively with customers
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of field service experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience with commercial and/or industrial refrigeration systems
• D2 License required
• Ammonia refrigeration experience is preferred but not required
• Must reside within 25 miles of New Haven, CT or Newark, NJ
