Job Summary

Polar Bear Refrigeration FZE is seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cold rooms, condensing units, and inverter-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and commission refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on cold rooms, chillers, and freezer units
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls
• Work with inverter-based heat & cool systems and advanced control panels
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues efficiently
• Monitor system performance and ensure energy-efficient operation
• Handle refrigerant charging, leak detection, and recovery safely
• Maintain service reports and documentation
• Follow all safety standards and company procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in refrigeration/HVAC field
• Strong knowledge of cold rooms, split units, and condensing units
• Experience with inverter technology systems is an advantage
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Physically fit and able to work on-site and in varying conditions
• ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration or HVAC preferred

Salary & Benefits
