Refurbishment Technician

Do you enjoy hands-on work, taking things apart and putting them back together, and seeing the finished result of a job well done?

We’re looking for a Refurbishment Technician to join our workshop team, helping to refurbish and prepare commercial gym equipment ready for our customers.

You’ll work on a wide range of gym equipment, dismantling machines, assessing components, preparing equipment for painting, and rebuilding it to a high standard. Full training will be provided, so while previous mechanical or workshop experience would be useful, we’re mainly looking for someone who is practical, reliable and keen to learn.

What You’ll Do:

· Refurbish gym equipment – dismantling, cleaning, preparing and rebuilding equipment to a high standard.

· Inspect equipment and parts, identifying anything requiring replacement or further attention.

· Use hand and power tools to carry out refurbishment work safely and effectively.

· Prepare equipment for the paint shop and reassemble it once completed.

· Assist with loading/unloading and help keep the workshop organised.

What We’re Looking For:

· Practical experience: Comfortable using hand and power tools; mechanical or workshop experience is an advantage but not essential.

· Attention to detail: Takes pride in producing a high-quality finished product.

· Attitude: Reliable, punctual, willing to learn and able to work well as part of a team.

· Reliability: You’ll need to be dependable, punctual and able to manage your workload effectively.

What We Offer:

• Salary: Based on your experience.
• Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
• Time Off: 28 days of holiday (including bank holidays).
• Free Gym Membership: For you, with discounted memberships for your family.
• Tools for Success: Full training, PPE, and uniform provided.
• Supportive Environment: Work with a friendly, skilled team in a welcoming space.
