Position Responsibilities

As a CDL Class A Regional Driver, you will:

• Safely transport freight between fulfillment centers, delivery stations, and designated locations.
• Operate late-model Amazon-branded sleeper tractors.
• Haul 100% no-touch, drop-and-hook freight.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Properly use ELDs, GPS, and Amazon transportation applications.
• Maintain accurate trip and delivery documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, Amazon personnel, and other drivers.
• Complete assigned routes safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Represent Double Nickel Logistics LLC in a professional manner at all times.

Schedule & Home Time

Our regional routes are designed to provide consistent work while supporting a healthy work-life balance.

• Typically home every other day
• Regional routes generally within a 500-mile operating radius
• Consistent, year-round freight
• Predictable scheduling whenever operationally possible
• Work assignments provided approximately one week in advance
• Consistent scheduled off periods between assignments
• DOT-required sleeper berth and rest periods between driving assignments

Schedules and home time may vary based on operational needs, route assignments, and applicable DOT requirements.

What We're Looking For

Qualified applicants should have:

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets company and insurance requirements
• Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
• Reliable attendance and dependable work habits
• Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
• Basic knowledge of smartphones, GPS, ELDs, and mobile applications
• Ability to work assigned schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays when required
