Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Regional class-A CDL Flatbed Driver and take charge of delivering freight across multiple regions with energy and precision! Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed trucks on regional routes, adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Load, secure, and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo safety during transit.
• Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently.
• Transport various types of flatbed freight.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checks on trailer condition, load security, and compliance with hazardous materials regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, pickups, and cargo manifests while following logistics cargo handling protocols.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any route or cargo issues promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial Class-A tractor-trailer driving experience with a focus on flatbed and tractor-trailer operations.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules.
• Skilled in route planning using GPS navigation systems for efficient delivery execution.
• Familiarity with truck loading/unloading procedures for flatbed freight.
• Experience in delivery driving across regional routes with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.
• Competence in operating manual transmission trucks with a clean driving record demonstrating responsible commercial driving practices.
