Regional Class A Driver

S&S Transport is growing and has just opened up new, regional, home every other night runs with your resets at home run in Jamestown, NY. We are looking for new Class A Regional Driver from Jamestown, NY and the surrounding areas. This is a regional driving position going from Jamestown, NY to Milton WI and back. Giving you 600 miles a day, 3000 miles a week and home every other night with resets at home.

Major Duties

• Safely and legally transport and deliver freight regionally or over the road
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and support staff
• Hook and unhook trailers and secure freight as required
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Follow all state and federal DOT regulations
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report defects or needed repairs
• Represent S&S Transport and the trucking industry professionally
• Maintain a clean tractor and trailer

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A
• Minimum 7 months of tractor/trailer driving experience (less than 6 months may require extended training)
• Knowledge of applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Meet all DOT medical and safety requirements
• Must pass required drug/alcohol testing
• Acceptable background investigation
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be legally qualified to cross state lines in a commercial motor vehicle
