Regional Controller - Construction experience required

Regional Controller - Up to $160k

Our client, a family-owned construction company, is hiring a Branch Controller to oversee the accounting and administrative functions of its East Norriton branch. The Branch Controller will work closely with the Branch Manager and Corporate Finance team to oversee branch financial performance, project financials, accounting operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. ***100% Onsite

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch-level accounting, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Review project financial performance and work closely with Project Managers to identify risks and opportunities
• Partner with the Branch Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and overall branch performance
• Oversee accounting functions including AP, billing, collections, and payroll
• Ensure branch accounting practices comply with corporate policies and procedures
• Analyze financial results and assist management in developing action plans to maintain profitability
• Support ERP initiatives and serve as the primary branch resource for Spectrum
• Prepare and coordinate daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Partner with Corporate Finance on process improvements and new accounting initiatives
• Maintain a cost-conscious approach and identify opportunities to improve revenue and control expenses
• Manage and develop the accounting team, including setting goals, providing feedback, cross-training, and supporting professional growth
• Communicate regularly with branch and corporate leadership regarding financial performance, initiatives, and operational needs

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting and/or finance experience
• Construction industry experience preferred
• 3+ years of management experience and responsibility for financial performance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
