Regional Float ED RN (Nights)

Join a dynamic healthcare system as a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN), providing high-quality, patient-centered emergency care across multiple hospitals in Missouri and Illinois (excluding children’s hospitals).

Key responsibilities include:

• Float across 12 hospitals within the system, practicing exclusively in the Emergency Department (ED).
• Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and intervention based on nursing expertise.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance through evidence-based practice.
• Utilize leadership skills to advocate, coordinate, and foster a positive work environment, mentoring colleagues and students.
• Communicate effectively to support culturally sensitive, ethical, and holistic care.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 2+ years ED RN experience; trauma and float experience preferred.
• Current RN license in Missouri; ability to obtain Illinois license.
• Willingness to travel between facilities in MO & IL.
• Strong adaptability, confidence in nursing practice, and commitment to professional growth.
• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; BSN/MSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, TNCC preferred.
