Regional Manager

Role Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, service quality, regulatory compliance, and team performance, while also taking an active role in identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities within the assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure operational activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve service performance targets.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Finance, and regional stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Responsible to develop and generate new business opportunities across Central Java, East Java, and East Indonesia by identifying prospective customers, understanding market needs, and converting opportunities into sustainable business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, prospects, and business stakeholders within the assigned areas to expand the company's customer base and revenue contribution.
• Identify market opportunities and develop commercially viable logistics solutions leveraging the company's freight forwarding, customs, warehousing, and other logistics capabilities.
• Manage operational risks, service recovery, and customer escalations effectively.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, international trade requirements, company policies, and quality management standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop team to foster a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support business growth by improving operational capabilities and implementing scalable logistics solutions.
• Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the International Freight Forwarding company is required
• At least 5 years of experience in Managerial role.
• Proven track record in developing new business and generating revenue within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Established network and market understanding across Central Java, East Java, and/or East Indonesia would be highly advantageous.
• Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
