Regional Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Regional Manager to join our growing Rise and Shine Queenstown team. This position is responsible for managing multiple commercial cleaning contracts and ensuring our clients consistently receive exceptional service. You will lead multiple cleaning teams across various sites, maintain strong client relationships, monitor operational performance, and ensure every contract meets Rise & Shine's quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Managing multiple commercial cleaning contracts across various industries
• Leading, coaching, mentoring, and supporting Cleaning Supervisors and Cleaning Technicians
• Conducting regular site inspections, quality audits, and performance reviews
• Ensuring all contracts meet agreed service specifications and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with clients
• Responding promptly to client enquiries, concerns, and service requests
• Work closely with the management team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services to existing clients
• Recruiting, onboarding, and training new employees
• Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and company policies are followed

About you

• Previous experience managing commercial cleaning, facilities management, or property services operations

• Strong leadership experience managing multiple teams across various sites

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong customer service and relationship management abilities

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

• Experience conducting quality inspections and managing service standards

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and operational management software

• A current full New Zealand Driver License

• Flexible and responsive, with a willingness to support a 24/7 operation when required

• Committed to delivering high-quality service and continuous improvement

• Supporting business growth by identifying opportunities for additional services and working with the management team to achieve revenue and growth targets.

• Monitoring staffing levels, labour costs, and operational performance to support contract profitability

• Preparing regular operational reports and providing updates to senior management on contract performance, client feedback, staffing, and improvement opportunities
