About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead mortgage sales growth and production performance across an assigned region. This individual will play a key role in expanding market presence, developing high-performing mortgage teams, and driving sustainable business growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven mortgage leader with a proven track record in loan production, branch management, loan officer recruiting, and sales performance. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen production, improve operational efficiency, and deliver an exceptional borrower experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mortgage production across an assigned region, driving loan volume, revenue growth, and branch profitability.
• Oversee branch performance and loan officer productivity, ensuring regional sales goals and business objectives are achieved.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to expand market share, increase loan production, and build sustainable referral networks.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and mentor mortgage loan officers and branch leadership teams.
• Monitor sales pipelines, production metrics, conversion rates, and performance indicators to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.
• Partner with corporate leadership, operations, marketing, and underwriting teams to streamline workflows and remove barriers to loan closing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate professionals, builders, referral partners, and other key industry stakeholders.
• Promote a high-performance, customer-focused culture that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state mortgage regulations, company policies, and risk management standards.
• Represent the organization at regional networking events, industry conferences, and business development activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall regional performance.

Required Qualifications

• Several years of progressive experience in mortgage lending, mortgage sales, or production management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing mortgage loan officers, branch teams, or multi-location operations.
• Strong understanding of mortgage production, loan origination, and the residential lending market.
• Familiarity with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, Non-QM, and other mortgage products.
• Proven ability to develop sales strategies, analyze production metrics, and achieve volume and profitability targets.
• Experience recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and developing mortgage sales professionals.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage compliance, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and business development skills.
• Proficiency with mortgage origination systems, CRM platforms, pipeline management tools, and standard business applications.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
• Current NMLS registration and good standing preferred, with applicable state licensing or registration requirements met as necessary.
