Regional Manager, R&D (Electronics Component)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technology roadmaps and lead the development of inductors, transformers, and related magnetic components from concept to mass production.
• Drive new materials, technologies, and process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Establish and improve R&D processes, project management systems, and commercialization practices.
• Lead and develop the R&D team, building technical capabilities and a strong talent pipeline.
• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and key customers on technical requirements, solutions, and project support.
• Ensure product compliance with relevant industry standards and drive design, process, and material optimization for quality, reliability, and cost reduction.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Magnetic Materials, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in inductors, transformers, magnetic components, or related industries, with at least 5 years in an engineering leadership role.
• Strong expertise in the design and development of inductors, transformers, integrated molding inductors, SMD power inductors, and wireless charging products.
• Solid knowledge of magnetic materials, electromagnetic simulation, thermal design, manufacturing processes, testing, and reliability analysis.
• Familiarity with AEC-Q200, IATF 16949, UL, CE, and other relevant industry standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, cross-functional collaboration, customer engagement, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally for customer visits, project support, and business development.
