Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks on over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards.
• Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques while ensuring cargo integrity and security.
• Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes, monitor progress, and ensure punctual deliveries across multiple regions.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Box truck equipment and document maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate delivery schedules, troubleshoot route issues, and ensure cargo is loaded and unloaded correctly.
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving on regional or OTR routes.
• Strong knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures for freight.
• Use ELD effectively while keeping up with hours of service.
• Proficiency in GPS navigation tools for route planning and real-time tracking.
• Excellent understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) rules governing commercial trucking.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per week
