Regional Security Director

Duties

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve regional security policies aligned with industry best practices and legal requirements.
• Oversee security personnel across multiple sites, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of security service.
• Conduct thorough background checks on prospective employees and vendors to verify suitability and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders to prepare for and respond effectively to incidents or threats.
• Monitor security systems such as CCTV surveillance, access control points, and alarm systems to ensure operational integrity.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, investigations, and compliance audits using report writing and data reporting tools.
• Ensure all security activities adhere strictly to safety regulations, criminal law requirements, and confidentiality protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience in law enforcement or corporate security management at a regional or higher level.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams across multiple locations.
• Extensive knowledge of criminal law, background check procedures, and performing in-person customer service with professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing and data analysis purposes.
• Experience in developing security protocols that comply with legal standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear reports and deliver effective presentations.
• Certifications such as CPR/AED are preferred; familiarity with criminal law experience is highly advantageous.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $232,000.00 per year
