What they need

Position Summary

Security Install Solutions (SIS) is seeking an experienced Regional Security Systems Technician to support preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting, commissioning, installation, modernization, and site-upgrade projects throughout the western United States and, when needed, nationwide.

This position will serve as a primary field resource for a multi-state security systems maintenance program. When scheduled maintenance activity is light, the technician will support other SIS service calls, installations, system upgrades, commissioning, site surveys, and project work across the country.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician and working field leader who enjoys travel, works independently, communicates professionally with customers, produces accurate documentation, and can lead, train, and develop technicians and subcontractors.

Compensation

· $37.00-$50.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, technical background, leadership experience, and relevant security systems expertise.

· Overtime eligible and paid in accordance with applicable federal and state requirements.

· Estimated base earnings of approximately $77,000-$104,000 annually at 40 hours per week.

· Estimated total annual earnings of approximately $95,000-$140,000+ when overtime is available. Actual earnings are not guaranteed and will vary based on assignment volume, travel schedule, overtime worked, and qualifications.

· Company-paid airfare, lodging, rental vehicles, and other approved business travel expenses.

· Meals and incidental expense per diem for qualifying overnight travel under company policy and applicable government per diem limits.

Benefits

· Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

· 401(k) retirement plan.

· Paid Time Off (PTO).

· Paid company holidays.

· Project-based bonus opportunities, when applicable.

· Annual performance bonus opportunity of up to 5%.

· Employer-supported manufacturer training and certifications.

· Company-issued laptop, tools, and testing equipment.

Why Work for SIS?

At Security Install Solutions, you'll work alongside experienced security professionals who understand the industry because they've spent their careers in it.

We're a privately held company that believes good technicians are our most valuable asset. When you join SIS, you're not working for a private equity firm trying to maximize short-term returns, and you're not working for a massive corporation where field technicians become employee numbers.

Instead, you'll have direct access to company leadership, opportunities to influence how projects are executed, and the ability to build a long-term career with people who genuinely understand the challenges of working in the field.

We believe in hiring talented people, providing them with the tools and support they need, and giving them the freedom to do great work.

Technicians are trusted to make decisions, solve problems, communicate directly with customers, and take ownership of their work. We believe in empowering talented people rather than managing through layers of bureaucracy. If you are looking for a role where your expertise is respected and your judgment matters, SIS provides the autonomy and responsibility to make an impact.

· Direct access to decision makers, including company leadership.

· Less bureaucracy and fewer layers of management.

· Opportunities to work on a wide variety of technologies and projects rather than being limited to a single product line.

· Investment in training, certifications, and professional development.

· A team-focused culture where technicians are respected for their knowledge and expertise.

· The ability to make a visible impact on projects, customers, and company growth.

· Consistent work across service, maintenance, installation, upgrades, and commissioning projects.
