Regional Technical Advisor

For our client, we are seeking a Regional Technical Advisor to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will support industrial automation systems and provide hands-on technical guidance across customer sites in the region. The position is focused on delivering reliable service execution, strengthening customer relationships, and helping identify opportunities to expand lifecycle support. It also requires close collaboration with field teams and customers to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall service capability.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,500 – $160,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Execute medium- to high-complexity service activities for distributed control systems
• Drive customer satisfaction through quality technical execution and clear communication
• Identify service growth opportunities by assessing system performance and lifecycle status
• Strengthen field service capabilities through mentoring and leading site activities
• Maintain knowledge of new technologies to support advanced technical issues

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation
• Deep understanding of electrical systems, programming, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in working with DCS, SCADA, and PLCs
• Willingness to travel over 80% of the time in the US, plus some international travel
• Comfortable with physical tasks like lifting and on-site repairs
• Current work permit for the USA
