Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive lower extremity venous reflux studies and rule out DVT
• Perform Echocardiograms
• Perform Carotid ultrasounds
• Perform Abdominal Aorta Ultrasounds
• Upload studies onto our server and fill out the proper reporting structures with proper knowledge of ultrasound exams performed
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and accurate documentation
• Maintain excellent communication with physicians, nurses, and office staff
• Travel to physician offices and patient homes throughout Southern California

Qualifications

Required

• Current RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) and RCS credentials
• Minimum of 2 years of Vascular/Echo ultrasound experience
• Extensive experience performing lower extremity venous reflux examinations
• Extensive experience with cardiac sonography
• Strong knowledge of venous anatomy, venous insufficiency as well as cardiac anatomy
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance
• Candidate must be available during the morning hours which is non-negotiable

Preferred

• Experience with Echocardiograms is a must. Please no new grads at this time.
• Knowledge of cloud based ultrasound reporting systems and preliminary reporting.
• Experience using GE Vivid or Mindray comparable vascular ultrasound systems
