We are expanding our core technical team and looking for a dynamic, newly registered professional to spearhead our architectural department, manage regulatory submissions, and grow with us from the ground up.

​Position Summary

​Gbodiison LTD is seeking a motivated, newly registered Architect to join our expanding team. This is a unique ground-floor opportunity for an ambitious professional who wants to transition from project-based commissions into a secure, full-time leadership role as our corporate portfolio expands.

​You will handle spatial designs, create comprehensive structural blueprints, ensure local zoning and regulatory compliance, and apply your professional seal to secure government approvals for residential and commercial projects.

​Key Responsibilities

• ​Design & Conceptualization: Translate client visions and project briefs into functional, aesthetic, and structurally sound architectural designs and 3D visualizations.
• ​Statutory Compliance & Permitting: Prepare complete architectural drawing packages compliant with state planning laws, zoning codes, and regulatory standards.
• ​Official Sealing & Sign-Off: Utilize your valid professional registration and seal to endorse approved architectural working drawings for government planning and permit submissions.
• ​Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our in-house registered builder and structural engineering consultants to ensure design integrity carries seamlessly into construction execution.
• ​Client Consultations: Meet with clients to present design concepts, explain layout frameworks, and incorporate feedback into updated drafts.
• ​Site Inspections: Coordinate periodic site visits alongside the construction team to verify that site implementation matches approved structural blueprints.

​Requirements & Qualifications

• ​Professional Certification: Must be a registered Architect with current validation and a valid practicing license with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
• ​Experience Level: Newly registered or early-career professional eager to build a long-term career track within a scaling construction firm.
• ​Software Proficiency: Strong command of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD), 3D rendering tools (Lumion, SketchUp, Blender), and Microsoft Office suite.
• ​Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of Nigerian building codes, state planning authority submission guidelines, and approval workflows.
• ​Communication Skills: Excellent plain, relatable English communication skills for effective client presentations and cross-functional team management.
• ​Mindset: Highly proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to take ownership in a growing corporate environment.

​Compensation & Growth Structure

• ​Phase 1 (Contract / Commission-Based): Initial engagement will be project-based and commission-driven, allowing you to earn competitively per design concept, drawing package, and successfully processed approval.
• ​Phase 2 (Full-Time Transition): Upon hitting performance milestones and as Gbodiison LTD scales its active project pipeline, this role converts directly into a Full-Time Staff Position with a fixed monthly salary, performance bonuses, and core corporate benefits.
