Registered Architect

Adelaide | Full-time

Help shape a growing Adelaide studio, backed by more than 30 years of architectural experience.

EIW Architects has been designing places for people and communities for more than three decades. Now, two years into our Adelaide studio’s story, we’re looking for a Registered Architect (within Australia) to help shape its next chapter.

You’ll join an established practice with the projects, expertise and support of our Perth and Adelaide teams behind you, alongside the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a growing studio.

If you’re technically strong, highly proficient in Revit and ready to take responsibility for delivering projects, we’d love to hear from you.

The role

Based in Adelaide, you’ll work closely with our local team and collaborate with our Perth studio across a diverse portfolio of projects.

The role has a strong technical and project delivery focus. Depending on your experience, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and documenting projects in Revit.

• Coordinating consultants and managing project information.

• Resolving technical issues and working through construction details.

• Managing project priorities and deadlines.

• Taking responsibility for moving projects through each stage of delivery.

You’ll have room to take initiative and work independently within a collaborative, supportive team. We value clear communication, thoughtful questions and people who follow through on their commitments.

About you

You’re a Registered Architect with strong technical skills, a positive outlook and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

You bring:

• 8+ years experience, and evidence of delivering architectural projects in South Australia

• High proficiency in Revit and confidence using it for everyday project delivery.

• Strong architectural documentation and technical skills.

• The ability to coordinate consultants and manage information across a project.

• An organised, proactive approach to managing priorities and meeting deadlines.

• Clear communication and a willingness to raise issues, ask questions and share ideas.

• An interest in solving problems and working through the detail.

• The ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team.

• Confidence, openness to others’ perspectives and a desire to keep developing professionally.

Why join our Adelaide studio

Our Adelaide studio is growing with purpose. Joining us now offers the opportunity to influence its future while benefiting from the experience and resources of an established architectural practice.

You’ll have access to projects and expertise across both studios. This could mean working on an Adelaide project, collaborating with our Perth team on a Western Australian project or contributing to an international opportunity.

We’re also interested in what inspires you. If there’s a sector, project type or area of architecture you’re passionate about, we want to hear about it. We welcome ideas, relationships and opportunities that could help shape the practice’s future.

About EIW

We care deeply about the impact our work has on the people who use it.

Education is a significant part of our practice. Over many years, we’ve developed specialist knowledge of how architecture can support different ways of teaching, learning and belonging. We also work across community, local government, sport and recreation, and other sectors, with projects across Australia and internationally.

We value good design and the thinking, technical rigour and collaboration needed to turn an idea into a successful building.
