Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - School-Based

Position Overview

Our client is seeking qualified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide behavioral support services to students throughout the district. RBTs will work under the supervision of a BCBA, Supervisor of Special Education, and Building Principal to implement behavior intervention plans and support student success in educational settings.

The interview process includes an initial screening with the Judge Healthcare team followed by an interview with the school district.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions for students in school settings.
• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Support students in developing safe and socially appropriate replacement behaviors.
• Promote student independence through effective prompting and prompt fading techniques.
• Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data, including frequency, duration, interval, and ABC data.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, BCBAs, and families to support student goals.
• Assist in implementing behavior management strategies within the classroom environment.
• Educate families and caregivers on reinforcement strategies and early intervention concepts.
• Maintain professional boundaries while providing ABA-based support services.
• Participate in reassessments and ongoing program development as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least two years of coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field.
• Current and active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral or developmental needs preferred.
